Katie is a Columbia hairstylist who has over 20 years experience in the hair industry! She loves and has an expertise across all length and styles for a cut – whether your hair is thick, fine, short, or long.
She is a master at working across all textures, lengths and styles. Her expert eye is second only to her kind and caring interaction with her guests. 

In addition to her talents with cutting hair, Katie is also a certified expert in curly hair and has also been an educator for brands such as Schwartzkof and Bumble and Bumble. As a colorist, Katie excels in layering in dimension to all her hair color creating natural lived in color that grows out soft and subtle. Her color services include grey blending or full coverage, balayage, foil highlights and full color conversions!

Katie graduated from Lexington Technology Center in 2001 and has styled hair ever since ! She has returned to downtown Columbia and now calls Metropolis Salon her home.
